Citing individual data points

Starrydata records are extracted from plot images in the original papers. When you reference an individual Sample or Curve in your own paper, please also cite the original source paper (CrossRef DOI). Each curve's source DOI is available in the web system and in the DOI column of the dataset CSV.

Pinning a specific dataset version

For reproducibility, use one of the frozen dataset snapshots published on Figshare or the NIMS Materials Data Repository (MDR). Each snapshot carries a DOI so it can be cited permanently by version and retrieval date.
